Schwendgraben is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Unterrabnitz-Schwendgraben in Burgenland .

The place is located north of Unterrabnitz in the Rabnitztal . On January 1, 2020, 135 people lived in Schwendgraben.

The first traces point back to the Iron Age , when people who were later called Celts settled here . After the Romans and the Avars that followed , the Bavarians settled and Christianized the country from 800 onwards .
