Schwenk Putztechnik is a brand of quick-mix Putztechnik GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the quick-mix group in Osnabrück . As a nationwide manufacturer, it sells premixed dry mortar and thermal insulation composite systems . Until 2015 it was part of the Schwenk group as Schwenk Putztechnik GmbH & Co. KG .

Story cement

Schwenk Zement KG, founded by Eduard Schwenk in 1847, is now managed by Eduard Schleicher in the fifth generation and is one of the oldest family businesses in the German cement industry. The "Zement" parent company includes the legally independent divisions Schwenk Transportbeton GmbH & Co. KG, Lithonplus GmbH & Co. KG, and Betonbau Holding GmbH.

History of plastering technology

In the 50s and 60s, the production of fine lime and fine binder began, which were mixed together as individual components on the construction site with sand to form the now-known factory dry mortar . In 1973, the Allmendingen plant produced the first series of finished products with the so-called machine fine lime plasters ( MEP ) that only had to be mixed with water on the construction site.

The cleaning activities had been bundled in a pure sales company since 1992, from which the legally independent Schwenk Putztechnik emerged in 2002.

In 2006 and 2013, Schwenk Putztechnik received the award as a "top supplier" from the plastering group of the ETICS of Euro building materials.

In July 2015 the company was taken over by the Sievert building materials group and has since been part of the quick-mix group in Osnabrück .
