The Scorpion is a light reconnaissance tank manufactured by Alvis in England from 1972 . In addition to Great Britain , Belgium and a number of other countries introduced the Scorpion in 1974 , especially in the Third World .

History and technology

The Scorpion replaced the Saladin armored car . Its curb weight is only about eight tons, as the armor is made of an aluminum-zinc-magnesium alloy. In the Falklands War , the British regiment Blues and Royals fought with four Scorpion and four Scimitar tanks.

Scorpion family

On the basis of the CVR (T) Scorpion, a family of tanks was created from different models for different tasks.
