Scott Parse (born September 5, 1984 in Kalamazoo , Michigan ) is an American ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League .

Career

Scott Parse began his career as a hockey player with the Tri-City Storm, for which he was active in the North American junior league United States Hockey League in the 2002/03 season . The winger then played for four years for the University of Nebraska at Omaha team in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association . During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2004 sixth round as a total of 174 players by the Los Angeles Kings .

First, however, he made his professional ice hockey debut for the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League towards the end of the 2006/07 season . After the right-handed shooter had spent the next two years exclusively with Los Angeles' farm teams , the Manchester Monarchs in the AHL and Reading Royals in the ECHL , he was in the National Hockey League for the Los Angeles Kings for the first time in the 2009/10 season Ice.
