Scott Saunders-Sánchez

Scott Alan Saunders-Sánchez (born January 18, 1959 in Salt Lake City , Utah , United States ) is a retired ski racer .

The native American was already a member of the University of Utah's university team . Internationally, however, he did not appear for the US Ski Association, but for Bolivia . He was a member of the Bolivian Olympic team at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and at the 1984 Games in Sarajevo . While he achieved no result in three starts in 1980, he was 43rd in the downhill in 1984 and finished 34th in the giant slalom . He also took part in the 1982 Alpine World Ski Championships in Schladming .

In the World Cup Saunders Sánchez reach 1,982 two results in the points - in the combination of Bad Wiessee he finished sixth in the classic combination of Wengen he finished fifth. These are the only World Cup points that a Bolivian ski racer has ever received.
