Sean Baldock

Sean Baldock ( Sean Michael Baldock ; born December 3, 1976 in Hastings ) is a former British sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1998 he was sixth at the European Indoor Championships in Valencia . At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest , he was used in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to the victory of the British team. At the 1998 World Cup in Athletics, he moved up to first place in the British 4 x 400 meter relay after the US team was subsequently disqualified. Shortly afterwards he came back to the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur for a preliminary deployment in the English relay, which then took silver in the final.

At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, he was eliminated in advance. In 2002 he reached the semi-finals in the individual competition at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester and won the English 4 x 400 meter relay. At the European Championships in Munich he was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run. In the 4 x 400 meter relay he was part of the re-victorious British team in the run-up.

At the 2003 World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, he came fourth with the British relay and fifth at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
