Sean Jones (born May 26, 1985 in Melbourne ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been playing for Mustangs IHC in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2011 .

Career

Sean Jones began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with the Saints Monarchs, for whom he played from the Victorian Ice Hockey Association from 2002 to 2003 . In 2004 he moved into the Australian Ice Hockey League to Melbourne Ice and with whom he 2006 VIP Cup as the best team of the regular season and in 2010 the Goodall Cup won. He then moved to local rivals Mustangs IHC , with whom he also won the Goodall Cup in 2014 . From 2013 to 2015 was the captain of the Mustangs.

International

For Australia, Jones took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships of the Asia-Oceania Division 2002 and Division III 2003 and the U20 World Championships of Division III 2004 and Division II 2005 .

In the men's division, he was 28 for the first time at the 2013 World Cup in Division II in the Australian squad . In 2016 he played with the Australians in Division II.
