Sebastián Gorga , full name Sebastián Gorga Nogueira , (born April 6, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.87-meter-tall offensive player Gorga played in 2011 in the junior team of the Uruguayan first division club Nacional Montevideo . In the 2012/13 season he completed a game (no goal) in the Primera División for the Montevideans . He was also used in an encounter (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2013 . In the following season he remained without use. In the 2014/15 season he won the Uruguayan championship with Nacional and contributed to it with eleven completed games (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. This was followed by eight further premier league appearances (no goal) in Apertura 2015 and three completed games (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . At the beginning of 2016 he moved to CFC Genoa , but was immediately loaned back to Nacional. During the 2016 Clausura he was used twice (no goal) in the league and in the Copa Libertadores 2016 . In mid-July 2016, CFC Genoa awarded him to the Argentine club Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata . So far (as of July 16, 2017) he has played 14 league games (no goal), three games (no goal) in the Copa Argentina and one encounter (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2017 .

National team

Gorga made his debut on January 13, 2010 under coach Fabián Coito in the 2-1 win over Florida as part of the Mundialito Tahuichi Aguilera in the U-15 Uruguay . In total, he completed five international matches in this age group. He was denied a personal goal.

Coito also used him for the first time on January 15, 2011 in the game against Chivas in the Uruguayan U-17 selection . He was in the squad for the U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador in 2011 . Uruguay finished the tournament as vice-South American champions. The total number of his U-17 internationals is four (no goal).

Since 2012 he has also been a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team . He made his debut in this selection on June 8, 2012 in the 1-0 friendly win over the USA under the aegis of the then coach Juan Verzeri . In July 2012, he was called up by Verzeri for a training course for the U-20s. Overall, the statistics show so far (as of July 8, 2015) three (no goal) U-20 appearances for him.

On May 19, 2015, he was initially nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . After all, he was on the final squad and won the tournament with the Celeste.
