The Seewaldsee is a heavenly pond in the Austrian municipality of Sankt Koloman im Tennengau south of the Osterhorn group .
Hydrography
The approximately 5.3 hectare large pond has no significant superficial inflows and gets its water mainly from infiltrations of the swampy environs and from precipitation. Excess water flows east over the Seewaldseebach to the Marchgraben . This drains over the Aubach to the south to the Lammer as a receiving water.
ecology
The at 1,074 m above sea level. A. located lake, which is located in a nature reserve , is surrounded by litter meadows, alpine meadows and forests. The lake is of great ecological importance due to its moor and swamp vegetation. Rare insects and plant species can be found, such as the yellow pond rose , pond horsetail , fever clover , round-leaved and mean sundew and rosemary heather .

In November 2008, the Seewaldsee and its surroundings were the setting for the Hollywood film The Last Knight Templar with Nicolas Cage .
