The Seifenbach is an almost two kilometer long right and southwest tributary of the Salzbach in the Hessian Westerwald .

The Seifenbach rises in a meadow on the eastern edge of the Talheimer Forest , southwest of Dornburg - Thalheim at an altitude of 324  m above sea level. NN . It first flows through grassland to the northeast, then passes through a small pond and flows past a basalt quarry on the left . About 400 m downstream it is dammed into a second pond. A little later it is fed by the Thalheimer Bach on its left side and then passes the Steinrück farm . The stream reaches the outskirts of Thalheim at the Am Seifenbach road and disappears underground. In the center of the village, south of the Neue Straße , it finally flows into a verdolt and at an altitude of 161  m above sea level. NN in the Salzbach .
