The Bayerland section of the German Alpine Club (DAV) e. V. is a section of the German Alpine Club (DAV). It was founded in 1895 as the second section of Munich and at the same time as the 217th section of the German Alpine Club.
history
On December 11, 1895, the Munich section of the DuOeAV decided at a general assembly to build the Munich house on the Zugspitze . Some members dissatisfied with this decision decided to found the Bayerland section. This was founded on December 27, 1895 in Munich and wanted to unite "practicing tourists". To date, members are only accepted after a tour report has been submitted. The section is a member of the DAV climbing and bouldering center Munich-South in Thalkirchen . Under the title “Der Bayerländer”, the section has published reports on what is happening in the section since it was founded.
