Selena Dibrowa ( Ukrainian Зелена Діброва ; Russian Зелёная Диброва Seljonaja Dibrowa ) is a village in Cherkassy Oblast near the geographic center of Ukraine with about 530 inhabitants in 230 households (2008).

The village already existed at the time of the Kievan Rus , but the first written mention of it dates back to 1864. The Ukrainian national poet Taras Shevchenko , for whom a memorial was erected in the village, often visited his sister Kateryna Hryhorivna Krassyzka, born in the village, who lives in the village. Shevchenko (1804–1848), whose grave is still in the village cemetery today.

Selena Dibrowa is the only village of the district council of the same name in the southwest of Horodyschtsche Rajon .

The village with a total area of ​​1773 hectares is located 185  m  above sea level on the bank of the Besimenna ( Безіменна ), a 16 km long right tributary of the Vilschanka ( Вільшанка ), 32 km southwest of the Horodyschtsche Rajon center and 90 km southwest of the Cherkasy Oblast center .

North of the village, in Wilschana , 15 km away , runs the territorial road T-24-08 and 10 km south of Selena Dibrowa, the trunk road N 16 runs .
