Ufuk Selim Teber (born March 7, 1981 in Frankenthal ) is a German football player . His position is the offensive midfield .

Career

society

Selim Teber started playing football at ASV 05 Edigheim, and finally switched to the B-youth team at SV Waldhof Mannheim via SV Pfingstweide and VfR Frankenthal . In 1999 he moved to the professionals and from there in the 2002/03 season to Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern . He scored two goals in 37 Bundesliga appearances.

Since he could not prevail at 1. FC Kaiserslautern , he was loaned to SV Austria Salzburg in the 2003/2004 season. In 2005 he finally moved to Turkey, his parents' home country, and signed with Denizlispor . In the 2005/06 season, Selim Teber returned to Germany and played for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , with whom he made the march from the Regionalliga Süd to the 1st Bundesliga between 2007 and 2008 .

In April 2009, Teber announced that he will definitely not extend his contract with Hoffenheim, which will expire on June 30, 2009. He moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2009/10 season with a contract dated until 2011 . He scored his first goal in the Frankfurt Eintracht jersey on April 3, 2010 in a 3-2 win over Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

Teber moved to Kayserispor in Turkey for the second time in the summer of 2010 . After one season (two goals, seven assists), he went to promoted Samsunspor in the summer of 2011 .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Kardemir Karabükspor . The decisive factor for this change was the fact that Karabükspor was looked after by Michael Skibbe , former coach Tebers from Frankfurt time .

In the summer of 2013 Teber moved to the Turkish third division club MKE Ankaragücü . For the Turkish capital club he completed 31 league games in which he scored 6 goals, as well as 3 play-off games for promotion to the second highest division.

From October 2014 Teber was without a club before he joined his hometown club VfR Frankenthal in the summer of 2015 . In August 2018, Teber moved within Frankenthal to DJK Schwarz-Weiss Frankenthal in the district league B.

National team

Selim Teber played five games for the German U21 national soccer team between 2002 and 2003 .
