Selina Herrero Nuñez (born May 28, 1993 in Mainz ) is a German-Spanish singer and was a member of the band Queensberry from 2010 to 2012 . After leaving the band, she is back to work as a guest and solo singer.

Life

At the age of 13 she met music producers Kay D. and Rob Tyger. The first single, Don't Be Shy , was released, which reached number 68 in the German single charts. Her second single You Can't Stop Me was released on August 1, 2008. The single addresses the issue of bullying among classmates. According to her own statements, Selina Herrero herself suffered from such attacks.

In July 2010 she became a member of the girl group Queensberry and, together with Ronja Hilbig, succeeded Antonella Trapani and Victoria Ulbrich, who left the band for private reasons. Before joining Queensberry, Herrero attended high school at the Roman fort in Bad Kreuznach ( Rhineland-Palatinate ). Because of the band, she dropped out of school after the 11th grade. In April 2012 she left the girl group to concentrate on her schooling again.

Together with the SpaceBoyz from Hamburg, she released the single Turn It Up in July 2013 , a hip-hop piece with dance influences and the associated remix Crash The Party . On the SpaceBoyz's debut album Here We Come , released in August 2013, she can also be heard as a guest singer on the song Happy Birthday .
