On My Own ( English for on your own ) is the second studio album of girl group Queensberry , set up under the 2008 talent show Popstars was compiled.

On My Own , like the debut album Volume I , was released on November 6, 2009 on the Starwatch Music label, which belongs to the Warner Music Group , as all winners of the Popstars talent show signed a contract with Starwatch Music, which works closely with ProSiebenSat. 1 media group works together, are bound.

The album could no longer build on the success of the previous album and only reached number 26 in the German album charts . Overall, the album only stayed in the charts for 3 weeks.

The album was rather mixed to poorly received by the press. Laut.de mainly criticizes the interchangeability of the songs. The single release Hello (Turn Your Radio On) is "stripped of all substance" and the "pleasantly psychotic note of the original has disappeared". However, the song Girl like Me (Nonchalant) is praised as "pleasantly catchy" and with a "successful beat structure".

Computerbild.de criticizes that little is heard of the band's announced maturation process. Also the monotony of the songs was criticized again as well as the singing of the band members in the lower voices.

Too Young
