Ronja Hilbig
Ronja Hilbig (born March 6, 1990 in Hamburg ) is a German singer . She became known as a member of The Lollipops , Cats & Boots and Queensberry . Since the breakup of Queensberry, she has been making a solo career as Miss Ronja .
Career
Hilbig started playing the piano at the age of four. In 2001 she played the role of little Nala in the musical The Lion King in Hamburg at the premiere .
From 2003 to 2004 she sang with Joanna Strand in the girls band Die Lollipops . Together they were the most successful Lollipops duo and sold over 550,000 audio and video recordings, received 6 gold and platinum awards, three top 10 chart placements and an Echo nomination in 2005 for the best music DVD. After her replacement in 2005, Hilbig formed the duo Cats & Boots with her previous colleague until she retired from the music business for the time being.
Shortly after graduating from high school , she became a member of the girl group Queensberry in July 2010 and, together with Selina Herrero, succeeded Antonella Trapani and Victoria Ulbrich, who had left the band for private reasons. In the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Broken Chip , she gave voice to chipmunk Brittany. A creative break announced in October 2012 in favor of solo projects turned out to be the final separation from Queensberry in 2013 .
After the end of Queensberry, Hilbig brought out a collection as a jewelry designer and presented it at the jewelry fair in Munich in February 2013 . Furthermore, Hilbig made advertising for eyelash extensions since October 2012.
On television, Hilbig was a participant in TV total tower diving from 2011 to 2015 , where she won the individual and synchronized diving in 2014. In March 2013 she was seen in an episode of Rent, Buy, Live .
She also started studio recordings for her solo career in Hamburg and Los Angeles , where she got the chance to work with the American rapper and music producer Leon "Roccstar" Youngblood Jr. She also appeared in Roccstar's music video for My Woman .
Since August 2013 she has appeared with musicians from the Delta Doppelkorn Bluesband from Hamburg-Harburg as Ronjas Räuber or Ronjas Bluesbox . They have been using Ronja Hilbig & Band as their name since March 2016 .
The first release was Hand Cuffed on Spotify in January 2015 . In October 2015, the single Bang Bang was released as a download .
In February 2017, she made her relationship with mixed martial arts fighter Abeku Afful public, with whom she had been dating for two and a half years at the time.
