Alexander Geringas (born March 2, 1971 in Moscow ) is a German music producer , songwriter and actor .

life and work

Alexander Geringas grew up as the son of the cellist David Geringas and the pianist Tanja Schatz in Hamburg and studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich and at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater. It followed piece contracts as an actor a. a. at the Lübeck stages, the Rostock Volkstheater and since 1996 regularly at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , where he works alongside u. a. Ulrich Tukur , Gerd Wameling and Peter Fitz played. Geringas' children's theater pieces The Red Corsair (1996), The Secret of the Red Hand (1998), The Red King Game (2000) and The Red Thread (2002), which he wrote together with Marc Letzig , also premiered there .

In 2005 he played again at the Hamburger Kammerspiele. This time in Aki Kaurismäki's adaptation The Man Without a Past , directed by Gil Mehmert . Geringas played and sang at the St. Pauli Theater in the Franz Wittenbrink lieder recitals Les Adieux (2003 including the opening of the 13th Ruhr Festival Recklinghausen) and Mütter (2004). Alex Geringas established himself as a producer, composer and lyricist of various top ten hits including 8 number one hits (including Leb ' from Die 3. He composed songs and wrote lyrics with and for Limahl , Emilia , No Angels, Joana Zimmer , Christina Stürmer, Die 3.
