The Sellbek (in old maps also Ellhornbek ) is a tributary of the Bünzau in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein . The river has a length of approximately 3.5 km. It rises south of Aukrug in the Tönsheider Forest nature reserve on the premises of the Aukrug Specialist Clinic , crosses under the district road 88 from Aukrug to Sarlhusen , then flows over the golf course area and flows south of Aukrug-Bünzen into the Bünzau.

The last 2,000 meters of the lower reaches before the estuary were piped during the land consolidation . The renaturation of this section has been planned since 1994 . In the landscape framework plan from 2000, it is planned to drain the Sellbek, Glasbek and Tönsbek rivers and make them natural.
