Selma Urfer
Selma Urfer (also Selma Graf ; born March 30, 1928 in Bern ; † May 2, 2013 in Munich ) was a Swiss - German author , translator and actress .
Life
She graduated from the Zurich drama school in 1948. In addition to her acting work in theaters and on television, she wrote numerous short stories and two novels. In 1970 she joined the Olten group of writers . Urfer was married to the German actor Robert Graf (1923–1966) and has three children, including the German film director Dominik Graf . She lived in Munich .
Awards
Urfer received several awards and honors, including:
- 1984: Swiss Observer Prize in the competition for short stories
- 1985, literature price of Bertelsmann -Verlags
- 1987: Literature Prize of the Canton of Bern
