Semih Uçar (born November 26, 1998 in Minden , Germany ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

The defensive midfielder Semih Uçar began his career at FC Preußen Espelkamp and moved to Arminia Bielefeld's youth department in 2013 . There he played a total of 32 games in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga between 2013 and 2015 , in which he scored one goal. Uçar then moved up to the A-Youth, with whom he became Westphalia Champion in 2016 and was promoted to the A-Junior Bundesliga . In the following season 2016/17 he played 23 Bundesliga games and scored two goals. Even as a junior, Uçar made his debut in the second Arminia team in the Oberliga Westfalen .

In the 2017/18 season , Uçar was part of the squad of Arminia Bielefeld's reserve team and scored a goal in 26 league games. In April 2018, Uçar signed a professional contract with a term of two years and, after the dissolution of the second team, moved up to the roster of the professional team. Uçar did not play in the 2nd Bundesliga there . In August 2019, Semih Uçar moved to the Turkish second division side Adanaspor and made his professional debut on August 18, 2019 when his team lost 1-0 at Akhisarspor .

After only one year at Adanaspor, Uçar returned to his hometown club FC Preußen Espelkamp , which had just been promoted to the Westphalia League.
