Furkan Özçal (born September 3, 1990 in Munich ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .
Career
society
Özçal comes from the youth of TSV 1860 Munich . In summer 2008 he moved to Kayserispor in Turkey . He made his debut for Kayserispor on December 20, 2008 against Hacettepe SK . He played for Kayserispor for four years. Galatasaray Istanbul signed him on September 5, 2012 . He signed a four-year contract with the yellow-reds .
Özçal became Turkish champions in his first season with Galatasaray. He himself was not used in the Süper Lig. For the 2013/14 season he was loaned to Kardemir Karabükspor . At the beginning of January 2015, Özçal was awarded again to Karabükspor. Galatasaray received 450,000 euros and Karabükspor had a purchase option for him for 800,000 euros until May 25, 2015.
For the 2015/16 season he was loaned to his former club Kayserispor. So he worked after his first Kayserispor period and after his Karabükspor period for the third time with the coach Tolunay Kafkas .
In the summer of 2016, he finally left Galatasaray and joined league rivals Bursaspor . He left Bursaspor without a game and moved on to Osmanlıspor FK . For the second half of the 2018/19 season he was signed by the second division Adanaspor .
National team
Furkan Özçal played 58 times between 2006 and 2010 for Turkish junior teams of the ages U-16 to U-21.
