Celil Yüksel (born January 1, 1998 in Havza , Samsun ) is a Turkish football player . He plays for Galatasaray Istanbul . For the second half of the 2019/20 season, Yüksel was loaned to the second division Adanaspor .

Club career

Akgün joined the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul at the age of 14 . Before that he played in the youth of Ayazağaspor and Sarıyer SK . After five years in the youth of the yellow-reds , Akgün signed a professional contract with a term of three years. In his first season with the first team, he was not used in the Süper Lig . The midfielder made his debut in the Süper Lig on November 10, 2018 against Kayserispor . His head coach Fatih Terim came on for Sofiane Feghouli in the 88th minute.

National team

From 2014 to 2015 Celil Yüksel played for the Turkish U-16, U-17 and U-18.
