İsmail Çipe (born January 5, 1995 in Antakya ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper . He plays for Galatasaray Istanbul and was loaned to Kayserispor in the 2019/20 season.

Club career

Çipe joined the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul at the age of 15 . Before that he played in the youth of Hatayspor . After four years in the youth of the yellow-reds , İsmail Çipe signed a professional contract with a term of five years. In his first two years in the first team, he was not used in the Süper Lig .

For the 2016/17 season, the goalkeeper was loaned to Bugsaşspor . In the following season he played in the first half for Fatih Karagümrük SK and in the second half for Tuzlaspor , each on loan.

The goalkeeper made his debut in the Süper Lig on November 10, 2018 against Kayserispor . His head coach Fatih Terim came on for Fernando Muslera in the 94th minute. At the end of the 2018/19 season, Çipe became Turkish champion and cup winner. In August 2019, the goalkeeper was loaned to Kayserispor for two seasons.

From 2014 to 2015 İsmail Çipe played for the Turkish U-19 and U-21.
