Levent Gülen (born March 16, 1994 in Aarau ) is a Swiss - Turkish football player .

Career

Gülen was born as the son of Turkish immigrants in Aarau , Switzerland , and learned to play football in the youth departments of various amateur clubs. For the 2011/12 season he was pulled up into the squad of the reserve team at Grasshopper Zurich and had played 36 league games by the end of the season. For the next season he was taken over to the first team and gradually came here to regular assignments. For the second half of the 2013/14 season he was loaned to the Turkish first division club Kayserispor .

In the summer of 2016, Gülen moved to his former club Kayserispor on a free transfer.

Gülen played several times for the Swiss U-16, U-17 , U-19 , U-20 and U-21 national teams .
