Artem Anatolijowytsch Krawez ( Ukrainian Артем Анатолійович Кравець ; born June 3, 1989 in Dniprodzerzhynsk , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian football player .

The striker played for Dynamo Kiev in 2004 . After he was regularly used in the second team of Dynamo, Yuri Sjomin , who was coach of the A-team at the time, noticed him and appointed him to the first team. Subsequently Krawez regulars at Dynamo Kiev and caused international attention when he with two goals in the second round of the 2008/09 UEFA Cup to FC Valencia shot from the tournament. In the 2008/09 season Krawez won the Ukrainian Championship for the first time with Kiev. In 2013 he played on loan for Arsenal Kiev for a few months . After his return, he won the 2014 cup with Dynamo and won the double in the 2014/15 season .

On January 4, 2016 Krawez initially joined on loan until the end of season 2015/16 to VfB Stuttgart . After making his Bundesliga debut on January 23, 2016 (18th matchday) in a 3-1 win in the away game against 1.FC Köln with a substitute for Timo Werner in the 77th minute , he scored on January 30th, 2016 (19 Matchday) his first Bundesliga goal with the 2-1 winner in the 88th minute in the home game against Hamburger SV .

Further loans followed, for the entire 2016/17 season to the Spanish first division club FC Granada and in January 2018 for six months to Kayserispor in Turkey .

National team

Krawez took part with the U-19 national team of Ukraine in the qualification for the U-19 European Championship in 2008 . He was nominated for an international match against Serbia in March 2008 , but injured himself before the game, so he had to cancel. He made his debut for the senior national team of Ukraine on February 8, 2011 against Romania. For the Ukrainian U-21 national team , Krawez was in action at the U-21 European Championship in 2011 . He scored three goals for the senior national team in qualifying for the 2016 European Championship and qualified with Ukraine in the playoffs against Slovenia for the finals in France.
