Senda VI (also: Población Senda VI ) is a town in the department of Cochabamba in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Senda VI is the second largest town in the canton of Mariposas in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) of Puerto Villarroel in the province of Carrasco . Senda VI is located at an altitude of 229 m about eight kilometers west of the Río Ivirgarzama , which flows northeast to the Río Ichilo .

Senda VI is located in the Bolivian lowlands on the northeastern foothills of the Cordillera Oriental .
The region has an average annual temperature of 24 ° C (see climate diagram Villa Tunari), the monthly averages are between about 26 ° C from October to December and 20 ° C in June and July. The average annual precipitation is more than 1000 mm, the wet season extends from November to February, the months of July and August are rather dry with less than 50 mm.

Senda VI is located at a distance of 216 kilometers by road northeast of Cochabamba , the capital of the department.
The 1,657-kilometer Ruta 4 highway runs through Cochabamba and runs from Tambo Quemado on the Chilean border in the east across the country to Puerto Suárez on the Brazilian border . From Cochabamba you can reach Senda VI via Villa Tunari and Chimoré , the highway then continues via Ivirgarzama to Warnes and Santa Cruz .

Due to the historically grown population distribution, the region has a high proportion of Quechua population, in the municipality of Puerto Villarroel 83.5 percent of the population speak the Quechua language.
