Localization of Bavaria in Germany

The Deggendorf (Hochoberndorf) transmitter is a 56 meter high telecommunications tower of Deutsche Telekom AG near Hochoberndorf with a steel framework construction and 806 meters above sea level. It is used for directional radio , mobile radio and to distribute the VHF radio program from our Radio Deggendorf. The antenna is located at a height of 33 meters.

Until DVB-T was introduced, the station also broadcast analog television. The antenna was located in the GRP cylinder, which was dismantled after it was switched off. The mast was thus shortened from 83 meters to 56 meters.
