Localization of Baden-Württemberg in Germany

The Reutlingen (Scheibengipfel) transmitter is a filling station for television and radio. It is located on the 534 meter high wooded disc summit , about two kilometers northeast of downtown Reutlingen. A 49.6 meter high prefabricated concrete mast is used as the antenna carrier, which was built in 2012 as a replacement for a free-standing reinforced concrete mast .

Since March 29, 2017, the Scheibengipfel has been broadcasting a program bouquet of public and encrypted private channels in HD quality via DVB-T2 HD . In addition, the nearby area is supplied with the DASDING radio programs from SWR , Antenne 1 and Neckaralb Live .

Until the introduction of DVB-T , this broadcaster broadcast the television programs ZDF and SWR television on terrestrial basis . B.TV used to broadcast analogue from this transmitter location, but this broadcast was discontinued long before the two other channels were switched off.
