The IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia in 2011 was the fourth edition of the by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF carried out competition . The tournament was held from April 25th to 30th, 2011 in the Kuwaiti capital Kuwait City . The game was played in the national ice rink there .
The title was secured for the first time by Hong Kong , which won all tournament games and prevailed with 15 points ahead of the United Arab Emirates and Thailand . In addition to long-time World Cup participant Mongolia and last year's fourth Malaysia , the defending champion Republic of China (Taiwan) also decided not to participate.
