IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia 2018

The IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia in 2018 was the eighth edition of the by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF carried out competition . For the first time, the participants were divided into two divisions of four teams each. The tournaments were held from March 6 to 11, 2018 in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur . The game was played in the Empire City Ice Arena .

As in the previous three years, the strongest Asian nations did not participate, so that only teams from the former Division I took part in the competition. This, however, with a record number of eight nations.

The title was secured for the third time by the selection of the Republic of China (Taiwan), which, however, competed for the first time with an U18 selection. The team laid the foundation stone for the tournament victory on the second day of the tournament, when they defeated New Zealand's U18 team defending their title 4-1. In Division I, hosts Malaysia remained undefeated in all three tournament games and won them.
