The United Arab Emirates Women's National Ice Hockey Team is a selection of United Arab Emirates women players appointed by the UAE Ice Sports Federation to represent the country internationally.
history
The United Arab Emirates' national women's ice hockey team took part in an international tournament for the first time at the 2014 IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia in Hong Kong . After a clear opening defeat against Thailand (0:12) on December 26, 2013, the team’s first international match and the highest defeat to date, they won a point against Singapore the following day (6: 7 a.d.) for the first time Competition. At the end of the tournament, the UAE's selection was defeated by hosts Hong Kong with 0: 9. With one point, the United Arab Emirates finally finished fourth and thus last place in the IIHF Challenge Cup.
The UAE achieved the first victory in the history of the women's team in March 2017 at the IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia 2017 in Bangkok .
