The Republic of China Women's National Ice Hockey Team is the national ice hockey team of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in women's ice hockey . She has been participating in the IIHF World Championships since 2017 , after having successfully participated in the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia in the previous two years .

history

The Republic of China Women's National Team made their debut on November 6, 2014, when they faced the Hong Kong national team as part of the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia . She was able to win the game clearly 7-0. The participation in the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia of Division I 2015 was synonymous with the first participation in an international tournament. The team that hosted the tournament also secured the title with four wins from as many games. The following year the team repeated their success - again undefeated.

The positive results meant that the association registered the team for the first time for the women's world championship . There, the selection started in December 2016 as part of the 2017 World Cup in qualifying for Group B of Division II. With another four wins in four games, the team qualified for Group B of Division II in 2018 , where they finished second behind Spain and just missed another promotion.
