The Danish national ice hockey team for women is Denmark 's national ice hockey team in women's ice hockey . In February 2011, the team was 22nd in the IIHF world rankings .

history

The Danish national ice hockey team for women took part in the Women's European Championships between 1989 and 1996 . Her greatest success was winning the bronze medal at the 1991 European Championship . In 1995 and 1996 , however, the team only competed in the B-EM, in which they finished second and one.

At the 1992 World Cup , the Danish women's national team made its World Cup debut, but then sat twice and started playing in the B-World Cup for the 1999 World Cup. Since then, the Danes have always played in either Division I or II, with their worst World Cup result at the 2009 World Cup with fifth place in Division II. At the 2011 World Cup , the team will again compete in Division II.
