The New Zealand women's national ice hockey team is New Zealand 's national ice hockey selection team in women's ice hockey . In January 2011, the team is 30th in the IIHF world rankings .
history
The New Zealand women's national ice hockey team has been participating in the International Ice Hockey Federation's games since the 2005 World Cup. In their first three World Cup appearances, the New Zealanders took second and third place in Division IV.
Since the divisions III to V in the 2009 World Championships were not played and 2010 due to the hosting of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver anyway No Women's World Cup was held, denied New Zealand in 2011 for the first time in three years a World Cup match and won the in Reykjavik discharged tournament Division IV.
