The woman ice hockey team of Mexico is a selection of Mexican players who from Mexico Ice Hockey Federation to represent are determined by the country at international level.

history

The Mexican women's national team played on February 18 and 19, 2012 in two international matches on the Argentine women's national team . For both teams it was their first ever international game. Argentina won the first game just 1-0, in the second game Mexico won 7-1. It was then planned to qualify for Group B of the World Championship Division II , which ultimately did not materialize.

Two years later, the Mexicans took part as hosts in the qualification for Group B of the World Cup Division II , won this tournament and thus managed to move up to Division IIB for the 2015 World Cup . At this tournament, which was held in March 2015 in Jaca , Spain , they finished second.
