Cuautitlán Izcalli is a municipality in the Mexican state of México . It belongs to the Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México , the metropolitan region around Mexico City . The administrative seat and largest place of the municipality is the city of the same name Cuautitlán Izcalli . The administrative district had 511,675 inhabitants in 2010, its area is 110 km² .

The municipality borders on the municipalities Tepotzotlán , Teoloyucan , Cuautitlán , Tultitlán , Tlalnepantla de Baz , Atizapán de Zaragoza and Nicolás Romero .
