Santa Ana Jilotzingo

Jilotzingo is a municipality in the Mexican state of México . It belongs to the Zona Metropolitana del Valle de México , the metropolitan region around Mexico City . The municipality had 17,970 inhabitants in 2010, its area is 119.2 km² .

The administrative seat is Santa Ana Jilotzingo , the largest places in the municipality are, however, San Luis Ayucan and Santa María Mazatla .

geography

Jilotzingo is located about 20 km west of Mexico City and about 40 km northeast of Toluca de Lerdo .

The municipality borders on the municipalities Isidro Fabela , Atizapán de Zaragoza , Naucalpan de Juárez , Xonacatlán and Otzolotepec .
