The French national ice hockey team of the women 's national ice hockey national team of France . She is in the IIHF world rankings of 2017 in 13th place and plays in the Ice Hockey World Championship of Division IB (third division).

The French national ice hockey team for women has participated in international competitions since the 1991 European Championship. Her greatest success so far at a world championship was third place in Division I (eleventh place overall) at her very first participation in the World Cup in 1999 . In the one-time IIHF World Women's Challenge , France took first place out of 4 participating teams in Division I in Tilburg, the Netherlands . The last time the team was relegated to Division II in 2009 was sixth and last in Division I. This is the French women’s worst result so far.

The U18 national junior team, which was founded in 2008, finished fourth in qualifying for the 2009 World Cup and ended Division I, which was played for the first time, in 2009 among the U18 women in second place behind Japan.
