The Slovak national ice hockey team of the women 's national ice hockey national team of Slovakia . She is in the current IIHF world rankings of 2018 in 15th place and plays in Division I, Group A, of the World Championship.

history

The Slovak women's national ice hockey team has been participating in international competitions since the 1995 European Championship. Her greatest success so far at a world championship was first place in Division I at the 2009 world championship and the associated first-time promotion to the top division. In their only Olympic participation in 2010 , the Slovaks finished in Vancouver in eighth and thus last place. Previously, the Slovaks had beaten their opponents from Bulgaria 82-0 in the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Winter Games in 2008 . This is the highest victory ever in an official IIHF women's competition.
