The Polish women's national ice hockey team is Poland 's national ice hockey team in women's ice hockey .

history

The Polish women's national ice hockey team first took part in a world championship in 2011 . In Division V, the sixth World Cup performance level for women, the Polish women faced Bulgaria , Ireland , Spain and Turkey . With four wins in four games Poland was able to prevail and immediately achieved promotion to Division IV. Due to the cancellation of several teams, they played in the higher Division II B the following year , where they still managed a promotion. They prevailed again without defeat in Division IIB against Spain, South Korea , Iceland , Belgium and South Africa .
