The IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia in 2014 was the seventh edition of the by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF carried out competition . Between February 24 and March 22, 2014, a total of ten national teams took part in the two top division tournaments and Division I, which was held for the first time.
The Republic of China (Taiwan) secured the title for the fourth time , taking first place with a flawless record of five wins in as many games.

The first Division I of the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia was held from February 24 to March 2, 2014 in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek . The game was played in the Gorodskoi Katok with a capacity of 750 people . Four national teams took part in the tournament, which initially played out the placements within the group in a single round and then contested a knockout round.
The host and top favorite Kyrgyzstan surprisingly lost 4-5 to the team from Macau in the final game of the tournament, which secured promotion to the top division.
