The IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia in 2012 was the third edition of the by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF carried out competition . The tournament was held from February 15 to 19, 2012 in the Chinese metropolis of Qiqihar . The game was played in the ice rink of the Qiqihar ice rink .
The title was secured for the second time by Japan , who beat the People's Republic of China 3: 1 in the final and successfully defended their previous year's title.
