The Seoul Open 2007 took place from April 23 to 28, 2007 in the South Korean capital Seoul . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2006/07 and endowed with 50,000 US dollars. It belonged to the WSA Gold 35 category .
At the first edition of the tournament, number one and two in the world rankings, Nicol David and Natalie Grinham , met in the final . Grinham won the game 9: 4, 9: 4 and 9: 0, ending David's 51-game winning streak.
The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Park Eun-ok a spot in the main draw.
