Sergei Konstantinovich Sadownikow ( Russian Сергей Константинович Садовников , Belarusian Сяргей Садоўнікаў / Syarhey Sadounikau; * 3. March 1982 ) is a Russian, now-start for Belarus, biathlete .

Sergei Sadownikow ran his first Junior World Championship in Ridnaun in 2002 and was tenth in the sprint there. A year later he won the title with the Russian relay, was again tenth in the sprint, 16th in the pursuit and 42nd in the individual. At the 2003 European Junior Championships in Forni Avoltri , the Russian was tenth in the individual.

Since the 2003/04 season , Sadownikow started in the European Biathlon Cup . The first race was a sprint in Ridanna, where the Russian finished 17th. Only a little later, he came sixth in a sprint in Obertilliach and finished sixth in the top ten for the first time. The 2005 European Biathlon Championships in Novosibirsk brought him seventh place in the individual, while the 2006 European Biathlon Championships in Langdorf brought the Russian to 31st in the sprint and 23rd in the pursuit. After the 2006/07 season, Sadownikow switched from Russian to Belarusian citizenship due to a lack of prospects in the Russian team and has been competing for his new home country since 2009. After his first use in an Altenberg sprint where he was 16th, Sadownikow was able to celebrate his debut in the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding . With the relay he ran to a disappointing 20th place, in the sprint he missed the pursuit race by two places in 62nd place. A little later he won World Cup points for the first time as the 33rd in a sprint race in Antholz .
