From February 2012, Ridsik started as a ski crosser in the European Cup, where he finished in the points for the first time a month later. At the Junior World Championships in 2012 and 2013 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he finished seventh. He completed his first World Cup race on February 19, 2013 in Sochi and finished in 36th place. In the discipline ranking, this resulted in tenth place. At the season highlight, the 2015 World Championships on Kreischberg , he finished 15th. In the 2015/16 World Cup season , he was unable to maintain the level of the pre-winter season. The best result was a sixth place, also in the following season 2016/17 . After the 2017/18 season had started rather moderately, Ridsik won his first World Cup victory on December 15, 2017 in Montafon . He won the bronze medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
