Sergei Vladimirovich Kriwokrassow ( Russian Сергей Владимирович Кривокрасов ; born April 15, 1974 in Angarsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian ice hockey player and current coach .

Career

During his Soviet period he played for HK CSKA Moscow . In the 1992 NHL Entry Draft , he was selected in the first round in twelfth place by the Chicago Blackhawks . In 1992 he then moved to the Hawks in the National Hockey League . Other stations in his career in the NHL were Nashville Predators , Calgary Flames , Minnesota Wild and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim . In 2002 he returned to Russia and has since played in the Russian league . The last season 2006/07 he spent at Metallurg Novokuznetsk .

As early as 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, he first became a member of the United Team and then of the Russian national ice hockey team . His international career was crowned with a silver medal in 1998 . In 1998 he was inducted into the " Russian Hockey Hall of Fame ".

In March 2010 he was appointed head coach of the Russian second division club Jermak Angarsk .
