According to their own statements, Roland Grapow and Mario Lochert talked about music on August 23, 2013 backstage at the " Ripollet Rock Festival 2013". Lochert came up with the idea of ​​founding a six-member band and was able to convince Grapow, who performed there with a master plan , of his idea. Back in Munich , Lochert convinced his friend Thomen Stauch by phone , after which Jan Vacik and Dominik Sebastian joined the band. Finally, the formation met in January 2014 at Dreamsound Studios in Munich to work on their own material. After the first material had already been written, a suitable singer was found in the United States- based Swede Urban Breed.

One day before the start of the tour in Bremen , the band announced that Roland Grapow and Thomen Stauch could not take part in this. Roland Grapow (because of tinnitus ) is represented live by Bob Katsionis ( Firewind ), Thomen Stauch (because of shoulder problems) by Ramy Ali ( Freedom Call ). The group's first concert was on January 16, 2015 in the Aladin in Bremen .

In mid-January 2015, the debut album As Daylight Breaks was released via AFM Records . The pieces Sealing My Fate and I Seek No Other Life were published in advance on the video platform YouTube . The album entered the German album charts at number 61 . Around a year and a half later in September 2016, the second work "Mirrorworld" was released - also via AFM Records. On the corresponding tour, Alex Holzwarth sat on the drums for the first time. The third album "Magic" followed in August 2017. On the day the tour started, Bob Katsionis announced that he would concentrate on working with Firewind in the future, which is why Christian Münzner stepped in as a tour substitute. Shortly before Christmas 2017, the acoustic album "First Light" was released.

In May 2018, the band announced that Ramy Ali had joined the band as permanent drummer after Alex Holzwarth left in January.
