Setri Nyomi

Setri Nyomi (born May 1954 in Ho ) is a Reformed theologian from Ghana . He was General Secretary of the World Fellowship of Reformed Churches from 2010 to August 2014 , after serving as General Secretary of the World Reformed Federation from 2000 to 2010 . Chris Ferguson was his successor .

Nyomi made 1981 his Masters in Sacred Theology at the Divinity School of Yale University and his Ph.D. 1991 in Pastoral Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary , New Jersey .

After ordination in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Ghana in August 1980, Nyomi worked as a minister and lecturer in various locations in Ghana and in the USA . From 1994 to 1999 he worked as a senior executive at the All Africa Conference of Churches based in Nairobi (Kenya). After the end of his tenure with the World Fellowship of Reformed Churches, he became pastor of the Presbyterian parish in Adenta in the Greater Accra region .
