history

Seven Hell was founded by Chris Preisser , Tobias Jakobi, Anne Appel and Boris Seifert. The band had to change their old name Revolution due to a trademark dispute in 2007. In 2006 they played at the "Rock am See" festival in Rainrod with Doro Pesch, Grave Digger and UDO. At the end of 2010, the band separated from their long-time guitarist Sebastian Bach. In 2011 the former Courageous guitarist Oliver Lohmann took over the position of lead guitarist. In 2013 Lohmann was replaced by guitarist Heiko Schulz.

On March 28, 2009, Seven Hell was named “Hesse's best cover band 2009” by the Frankfurter Rundschau in Germany's largest cover band contest, " Hessen Rockt ". Seven Hell shot a music video with RTL-Hessen and released her first live album Seven Hell Live '09 .

The band received the greatest award for their live qualities when they performed together with the girl group Queensberry at the German Bowl XXXI in the Commerzbank-Arena Frankfurt in front of over 14,000 spectators. Seven Hell has already played in the Frankfurt locations Batschkapp, the Sinkasten and the Unionhalle.

Singer Chris Preisser won the German Rock and Pop Award in 2011 for his solo project as "best hard rock singer" and "best solo singer" in the cover area. The singer and band leader has a muscle disease that prevents him from walking. On stage he uses a standing aid from König & Meyer .
