action

In the Arizona desert , two prospectors are traveling with a coffin filled with gold coins. They are overtaken by a rider who kills them both. A medallion remains on the desert floor. Years later, a prisoner van had an accident in the desert. The six prisoners Rock, Travis, Santos, Blade, Zeus and Wallet flee, taking guard Lacy hostage with them. You think you are not far from the border with Mexico ; the criminal Rock takes over the leadership of the group. They later dig for water and come across not only a skeleton, but also the medallion that Rock takes. Blade soon turns against Rock and walks on alone.

After a while, the group comes across an Apache who realizes that they have the medallion with them and tells them about a nearby ghost town where a gold treasure is hidden. It was created 500 years ago and has always been guarded by seven Jesuit priests, each with a gold medallion. Whoever has the missing seventh medallion with him will be able to recover the treasure. Rock and the others go to town.

In town, the group is invited to the saloon by saloon owner Kile, but shortly afterwards they are confronted by Sheriff Drake for not registering properly. Part of the group decides to spend the evening with prostitutes. Only Rock, Travis and Lacy remain. Travis, in turn, is approached by the young Isabelle, who asks him for help. At night, the city's residents suddenly turn into zombies. The zombie prostitutes kill Zeus while Wallet and Santos escape. Wallet injures himself and is murdered by Drake. Rock, Travis, Lacy, Santos and Isabelle flee. Since Rock insists on finding the pot of gold, the group splits up. Travis and Lacy search a house, where they meet Blade, who is shortly afterwards killed by a zombie. Isabelle leads Travis and Lacy unnoticed by them to Drake, who demands the medallion. Rock and Santos both free them from the trap; Isabelle is killed by Drake and Santos is injured while trying to escape. The group flees to a church where they find a book of the dead. You put the medallion in a recess and get to a crypt. The gold treasure is stored in it. In addition, the group awakens the mummies of the Jesuit priests. Santos is killed in battle. Rock, Travis and Lacy flee, but Rock is killed by Drake, who also turns out to be a resurrected mummy. Lacy and Travis flee the city on a motorcycle, with Drake chasing them crumbling to dust at the beginning of sunrise. The city also disappears a little later.

Some time later you see two men dragging the gold treasure through the desert again. A rider appears and kills the men; the medallion falls to the ground.
